A dental emergency could include past dental work that has become loose or fallen out, bleeding, dental pain, swelling or inflammation, or trauma such as a broken tooth. If you are experiencing any of these issues, give us a call immediately so we can best advise you and help.
To protect a knocked-out tooth, keep the tooth either in your mouth between your gums and your cheek or in a glass of cold milk. Taking one of these steps will help preserve the pulp so our dentists can do their best to save your tooth. You can always expect a caring compassionate team to help you with any dental emergency.
This is one of the most common dental emergencies. While it may not seem serious, a loose or pulled-out piece of dental work like a filling or crown leaves this area exposed to oral bacteria and acid. You also may feel pain and sensitivity in the affected area. It's important to get the dental work replaced right away.
Recover your dental work, if possible, and put it in a plastic baggie. It may be possible to replace it in your mouth. If this is not possible, a new filling, crown, or other dental work will be applied to restore and protect your tooth.
